Yoseikan Aikido is the Aikido as is was first introduced in Europe in 1951 by Minoru Mochizuki Sensei (10th dan). Minoru Mochizuki (1907-2003) was a direct student of the founders of Aikido (Morihei Ueshiba), Judo (Jigoro Kano) and Karate (Gishin Funakoshi). In the Netherlands Yoseikan Aikido is officially represented by Edgar Kruyning Sensei (6th dan) and is represented as an autonomous style in the federation Aikido Nederland.
This app contains the background information on the basic series in the Yoseikan Aikido curriculum. In addition a number of techniques are illustrated with pictures in which the techniques can be viewed step by step. Also the locations and contact information of the various Yoseikan Aikido Dojo in the Netherlands are given.
